The „Berlin Philatelic Exhibition” (BEPHILA) was organised for the first time in 1957 and was held a total of 7 times until 2001. With this eighth exhibition under the name „BEPHILA”, the Berlin Postal Stationery Collectors Association from 1901 e.V., under the direction of the Briefmarkenfreunde Bernau e.V., the Philatelisten-Verband Nordost e.V. and the Phila-Service Nordost e.V., would like to celebrate its 125th anniversary. It will be organised as a combined national and regional competition exhibition. All exhibitors who are members of the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten e.V. (BDPh) or the Sveriges Filatelistförbund (SFF) are entitled to participate. Members of other associations belonging to the FIP may participate in the exhibition subject to the approval of the exhibition management.

In addition to this anniversary, there are three other events that we would like to include. The Berlin Radio Tower (Funkturm) and Deutsche Lufthansa are celebrating their 100th anniversary, and Berlin's professional fire brigade has also been in existence for 175 years.
